On Saturday, we decided we'd head to Mellow Mushroom for lunch in Auburn before the game. It was packed but I did experience some firsts. 1. The hostess can be paid off. That was a new one. I've never considered slipping the hostess money so that our name "magically" appears at the top of the list. I watched a group do that and quickly get a table! 2.We ended up finding a seat at the bar since waiting for a table was impossible. That's when I experienced the 2 people next to us using the ____ word in normal converstaion. What? I was shocked. I know this sheltered naive chick has missed out on a lot but wow that was new.I was also a little surprised at the game. The fans (including Auburn ones) around us were over the top. Their language was awful. We had a set of GA and a set of AU fans that went back and forth all throughout the game. A stretcher was sent in for one man up above us. But, right in front of us - friends from Camden! Out of over 87,000 fans, we ended up sitting just behind people we knew!!
