I was also a little surprised at the game. The fans (including Auburn ones) around us were over the top. Their language was awful. We had a set of GA and a set of AU fans that went back and forth all throughout the game. A stretcher was sent in for one man up above us. But, right in front of us - friends from Camden! Out of over 87,000 fans, we ended up sitting just behind people we knew!!

War Eagle
Bou and I got the chance to escape last weekend to Callaway Gardens. So nice to get away without the boys! We picked Callaway since we had tickets to the AU v. GA game on Saturday. Sometimes I forget what traveling with Bou is like until we're once again on the road. Bou never, never ever, looks up directions in advance. He'll know the general direction to head (north, south, east, west) but that's it. Then he'll realize that maybe we are close to our destination or past it, so he'll use his i-phone and google map. It drives me nuts! But, at least now we have phones that can help along the way. It was funny when we lost cell service on the way!
On Saturday, we decided we'd head to Mellow Mushroom for lunch in Auburn before the game. It was packed but I did experience some firsts. 1. The hostess can be paid off. That was a new one. I've never considered slipping the hostess money so that our name "magically" appears at the top of the list. I watched a group do that and quickly get a table! 2.We ended up finding a seat at the bar since waiting for a table was impossible. That's when I experienced the 2 people next to us using the ____ word in normal converstaion. What? I was shocked. I know this sheltered naive chick has missed out on a lot but wow that was new.

Halloween 2010
I guess you found us!
Our original blog was accidently permanently deleted. (oops Mr. Bou) I cannot post any of the old posts except by opening each individual one and cutting and pasting. I may work on that a few at a time but for now, we'll just go forward with this new one.
